On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Leonore Orchestra’s founding and the 200th anniversary of the first performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony, a concert titled Beethoven: The Ninth Symphony will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at 8:30 PM at the Teatro Manzoni in Pistoia.
The concert, dedicated to Luca Iozzelli, will feature the Leonore Orchestra conducted by Daniele Giorgi and the Philharmonischer Chor München conducted by Andreas Herrmann. Soloists include Nika Gorič (soprano), Natalya Boeva (mezzo-soprano), Matthew Swensen (tenor), and Roberto Lorenzi (bass).
The Concert Season at Teatro Manzoni is promoted by Teatri di Pistoia with the support of Fondazione Caript.
