On Thursday, February 6, 2025, at 8.30 PM, the Leonore Orchestra, conducted by Daniele Giorgi, will perform at the Teatro Manzoni in Pistoia, with Arsenii Moon as the piano soloist.
Born in 1999, Arsenii Moon is the winner of the 64th Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in 2023, where he also received the prestigious Arturo Benedetti Michelangeli Prize (which had not been awarded for nearly thirty years) and the Audience Prize, voted by spectators from around the world. On stage at the Manzoni Theatre, he will showcase his artistry in Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 1, a beloved piece since its premiere in Warsaw in 1830, when Chopin himself presented it as a farewell gift to his homeland.
