From Saturday, March 8, to Sunday, July 27, 2025, the venues of Palazzo Buontalenti, Palazzo de’ Rossi, and the Antico Palazzo dei Vescovi will host an exhibition dedicated to Daniel Buren (Boulogne-Billancourt, France, 1938), one of the most authoritative voices in the international art scene.
Featuring a series of original works created specifically for Pistoia Musei, along with an extensive selection of pieces and studies, the exhibition will provide a comprehensive overview of the master’s career, highlighting his deep connection with Italy.
In addition to involving the museum venues of Pistoia Musei, the exhibition will extend to the city and the surrounding area, reflecting Daniel Buren’s long-standing relationship with the region.
The exhibition is organized by the Fondazione Pistoia Musei, with the support of Fondazione Caript and in collaboration with Galleria Continua. It is curated by Daniel Buren and Monica Preti.
